The 2015 Rare Childhood Disease Fundraiser begins May 1, 2015 with a kick off assembly to be held at Blue Ridge Jr. High at 8:30 AM. This assembly will be a fun educational and interactive event discussing genetics, rare diseases, and highlighting the courageous students in the White Mountains who fight a daily battle with a rare disease. Scientist and staff from TGen’s Center for Rare Childhood Disorders will be at this assembly.
Blue Ridge Middle School and Jr. High will be having a penny war. The Elementary School will have a contest to see which class can collect the most change. Click here for details!
White Mountain Radio will be having a contest among local businesses to see which business can collect the most change. Customers will be encouraged to donate their change to support local children with a rare disease. Which ever business collects the most change will receive 1 month of free radio advertising on the station of their choice.
